15th Forum Suisse de la Logistique on Technological Innovations

The 15th "Forum Suisse de Logistique", co-organized by Prof. Philippe Wieser, was held on November 4th at the Rolex Learning Center at EPFL and was about "Technological innovations : Directs impacts on the Supply Chain".
For this 15th edition, 200 persons participated in this Forum, bringing together Swiss professionals who gave talks about various technological innovations such as:
- Drones to optimize inventories
- Autonomous vehicules
- Collaborative robots on constructions sites
- Big data as logistics solutions.
The objectives of the day were:
- To show the impact of technological and organizational innovations in the Supply Chain
- To exchange best practices through different areas of the supply chain and businesses
- To allow the exchange of innovative ideas and create synergies between the transverse areas of Supply Chain
- To discover approaches to different areas for the exchange of innovative ideas from applications other than logistics
