At its meeting of September 23th and 24th, the ETH Board appointed Dr. Bruno Oberle as Adjunct Professor of Green Economy at EPFL. As of January 2016, the present Director of the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) will strengthen the EPFL Institute of Technology & Public Policy with his practical know-how and broad experience in the areas of environmental management and protection of the environment.

With the appointment of Dr. Bruno Oberle (born in 1955) EPFL has succeeded in attracting a leading expert in the fields of Sustainable Resource Management and Green Economy. In his capacity as Adjunct Professor, he will use this wealth of experience for the benefit of EPFL.
