In August, representatives of SPIE Student Chapters from all over the world were invited to the SPIE Student Leadership workshop at the Optics & Photonics conference in San Diego, California (USA). Our chapter was represented by its treasurer, Grégoire Smolik who was awarded a travel grant.
In August, representatives of SPIE Student Chapters from all over the world were invited to the SPIE Student Leadership workshop at the Optics & Photonics conference in San Diego, California (USA). Our chapter was represented by its treasurer, Grégoire Smolik who was awarded a travel grant. It gave us the opportunity to connect with the other student chapters around the world and to continue the organization of events for IYL2015. The outreach Olympics and the chapters’ poster session were the occasion to exchange about chapters' activities.
