EPFL Fellowship co-funded by Marie Curie

Dr. Víctor Vilarrasa has been awarded with an “EPFL Fellows” fellowship co-funded Marie Curie.
His research project, entitled “Coupled Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical Analysis of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Storage in Deep Saline Formations”, is aimed at developing practical methodologies and recommendations to define the CO2 injection pressure and temperature conditions to guarantee a safe storage without inducing felt seismicity.
