G-Therapeutics wins the €100'000 Hello Tomorrow Award

More than 1,000 start-ups had entered the Hello Tomorrow Challenge, a European business plan competition. Among the 25 semi-finalists, EPFL had 3 winners:G-therapeutics, Gimball and Playfulvision.
The €100,000 grand prize went to Swiss startup G-Therapeutics which is developing a technology that enables individuals with permanent spinal injuries to walk again! They are whosn here with their €15,000 check which they also won for being the BioTech track winner! Besides the grand winner, four other € 15,000 prizes were given to each track winner. The Robotics track winner, Swiss startup Gimball has developed a flying drone, that, inspired by insects, can bump into obstacles and continue to fly safely.
