Prof. Marc Gruber welcomed representatvies of economics departments of Switzerland, France, Belgium and Germany to present them the results of his research "Entrepreneurship and the Unemployed"
This joint research with Prof. John Dencker (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) was realized in collaboration with several employement agencies. During this workshop, Prof. Gruber and his collaborators explained how the unemployed create their own business, what factors drive them to do so and how their companies are developing.
According to Prof. Gruber "the workshop was a success and all the participants were very pleased to get an insight of the topic."
