Symposium ACIS “Science and Development, Swiss-Colombian Bilateral Relations about Scientific Exchange”
It is with great pleasure that the Colombian Association of Researchers in Switzerland (ACIS) invites you to participate in its Symposium on the eve of its 20th anniversary.
When, who
The Symposium will be held at EPFL's Polidôme on 2-3 November 2012. The event is open to the public although registration is required.
Representatives from Colombian and Swiss institutions focused on science, technology and innovation have confirmed their attendance. Furthermore, scientific, social, cultural Swiss-Colombian cooperation projects will be presented. The program and additional information are available on the event's Website.
Main goals
- To provide a platform to promote interaction between individual researchers, institutes, universities and the industry that are interested in scientific cooperation as a role of development.
- To demonstrate the importance and the impact of scientific exchange through previously successful research projects already made within the Swiss-Colombian cooperation framework.
- To highlight the role of ACIS, both past and present, and to assess the importance of this organization on the framework of development and scientific cooperation between Colombia and Switzerland.
