Several EPFL students - Agnes Antal, Gerardo Basterrechea, Di Chen, Andrew Sideris, Yan Wang and Yang Wang - are short-listed as Swiss finalists for the Traders Trophy Worldwide.
During this trophy students from universities around the world compete to become the best student trader of their country or possibly the world. The competition is situated within in a virtual dealing room created by connecting computers into a network. Each computer represents the desk of a trader, behind which students have access to news, phone lines and graphs of the traded securities. This competition enables students to show their talent and to take part in a dynamic and interactive competition where they can win prizes ranging from cash to jobs.The swiss final takes place on Friday November 9, 2012 in Zurich.
