In order to identify abandoned ones, green tags were put on every bike parked on the campus before the beginning of this semester. On 31 March, they have been removed.

Last Friday during the whole day, two teams of student-assistants took away all the bikes that were still tagged, under the supervision of Sustainable Campus and with the help of the janitors. In just one day, 115 bike parking spaces were freed up for the benefit of daily cyclists on the Ecublens campus.

The bikes will be stored a few months before being recycled or sold at the Bike Center, with the support of the Foundation for EPFL students (FEE). This additional period should allow unlucky owners to get back their wheels by clicking here. They will be returned at the Bike Center at a date to be communicated in the near future.

The Bike Park (Vélostation) in the Quartier Nord offers students and staff the possibility to park their bike on the long-term, right on campus. It has 324 free parking spaces, secured and covered. It is accessible 24/7 to all CAMIPRO card owners.
