2018 International Women's Day

On March 8, 2018, EPFL Alumni, in partnership with the EPFL Equal Opportunities Office, organized for the first time an event on the occasion of International Women's Day. The event brought together over 200 participants at the Rolex Learning Centre Forum.

After an introduction by Pierre Vandergheynst, Vice-President for Education, on EPFL's challenges and actions in the field of diversity, and a presentation of McKinsey's "Women Matter" by Nina Probst, partner McKinsey & Company, a panel of alumna women was moderated by Myret Zaki, editor-in-chief of Bilan, around the theme"Careers for women... EPFL, and after? ». This panel brought together:

  • Lajla Aganovic SC’08, Private Asset Management Firm, Senior Investment Officer

The event was followed by a cocktail reception during which the participants were able to meet the associations involved on the subject.
