Bike to work 2017 beats all the previous records

On the 4th of July, more than 100 cyclists from the EPFL formed a parade going from the Esplanade to the Sport Center in Dorigny. Review.

191 teams. 646 participants. 189'000 kilometres. 27 tons of CO2 prevented. The 2017 edition of Bike to Work closed on these incredible numbers

For the twelfth consecutive time, cyclistes from the EPFL were ready to roll... and they really did! Before the official launch on the 1st May, the participation record set in 2016 was already in the rear view mirror. year before. As a reminder, 525 cyclists participated last year in a 141 teams, and they travelled 132'000 kilometres.

At the Sport Center, a prize draw took place with many prizes such as foot pumpes, helmets, high performance lighting kits, Tracky chips; as well as a team prize composed of four waterproof backpacks. Together, the participants shared a free lunch.
