D. Foray nominated member of the Swiss Science and Innovation Council

The Federal Council has nominated Prof. Dominique Foray as a member of the Swiss Science and Innovation Council (SSIC) for the period 2016-2019.

The Swiss Science and Innovation Council SSIC is the advisory body to the Federal Council for issues related to science, higher education, research and innovation policy. The goal of the SSIC, in line with its role as an independent consultative body, is to promote a framework for the successful long term development of Swiss higher education, research and innovation policy.

As an independent advisory body to the Federal Council, the SSIC pursues the Swiss higher education, research and innovation landscape from a the long perspective.

By nominating Prof. Foray member of this Council for the next four years, the Federal Council recognises his expertise in innovation policy and research.
