Link up with scientists from abroad!
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) launches the Scientific Exchanges, a new exchange program aimed at researchers who want to host their own scientific event in Switzerland, invite colleagues from abroad for a research visit to Switzerland, or visit their colleagues in another country.
This grant will enable researchers in Switzerland to set up and strengthen international networks. It will also help to increase the competitiveness of Swiss research and its problem-solving capacities and enable researchers from all disciplines to add to their knowledge and contacts; this is beneficial to young researchers, in particular.
The Scientific Exchanges grants (up to CHF 25’000) offered by the SNSF support scientific exchanges within the scope of events such as meetings, conferences, workshops or research stays of a maximum of six months in Switzerland or abroad. For scientific events, the travel expenses and food and board costs of participants from abroad are covered, for research visits those of travelling guests.
