Welcome to Igor Tomic and Enio Zanchetta

Igor Tomic obtained his Bachelor and Master degree from the University of Split (Croatia), graduating as best student in civil engineering. He then enrolled in the well-known SAHC Postgraduate MSc Advanced Master Program in Structural Analysis of Historical Constructions and studied at the Czech Technical University in Prague and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. With this background he is perfectly prepared to start his PhD on advanced equivalent frame models for unreinforced masonry structures.

Enio Zanchetta, who is an EPFL graduate and had already carried out his Master thesis with the EESD laboratory, started his PhD studies. His aim is to develop a novel environmentally friendly construction material. The thesis is carried out under the co-supervision of Prof. Rizlan Bernier-Latmani, head of the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory (https://eml.epfl.ch/).
