Five years after the creation of the Center for Neuroprosthetics, all EPFL neuroprosthetics researchers are finally united under one roof at Campus Biotech.

The first phase of the move of the CNP laboratories to Campus Biotech occurred in June 2015 and concerned the laboratories of Professors Blanke, Millán and Van De Ville, moving to the H4 and H8 buildings, joined in September 2016 by Professor Hummel’s team. For the second phase, the laboratories of Professors Courtine, Ghezzi, Lacour and Micera moved to the neighbouring B3 building in November 2016 and in January 2017. From being dispersed across different buildings at the EPFL main Campus, we are now immediate neighbours to realize our scientific and translational projects.

The CNP direction and Professors would like to thank all 160 CNP staff members, our colleagues from the EPFL and FCBG infrastructure teams, and the SV and STI schools for their commitment and extensive work to realize this dream.

Our Campus in Geneva is a fabulous location with one of the highest densities of neuroscience, neuroengineering, and neurocomputational research in Europe. We look forward to promoting the development of outstanding joint research with our partners from Geneva University, Hepia, Wyss Center, CHUV, HUG, and Sion hospitals.
