The concept developped by Dominique Foray, Bronwyn Hall (Berkeley) et Paul A.David (Stanford) has been described in an article in le Temps on Friday, September 27th.
The International Benchmarking Forum organized in Basel talks about the idea of smart specialisation. Developped by an EPFL professor, it aims at supporting innovation in regions, based on their transformation capacity under the impulse of entrepreneurial discoveries. The idea has also seduced the European Union, as described in "Le Temps".
