The opening of the SwissTech Convention center at the EPFL campus site was celebrated with a public robotic festival in the weekend 5-6th of April.

As a result of collaboration between Robotic System Laboratory (Prof. Hannes Bleuler) and Laboratory of Quantum Magnetism (Prof. Henrik M. Rønnow), demonstration of transport with levitating superconductivity technology was demonstrated for the public. Over the two days, numerous kids - of all ages - took advantage and came to play with the levitating train system constructed for this event by Pierre Wets, who also maintains the large collection of advanced demonstration experiments EPFL professors use to illustrate the fundamental physics lectures given to all students of the EPFL.

Special thanks to Johan Chang, Claudia Fatuzzo, Julian Piatek, Ping Huang and Elahi Shaik, who devoted their weekend to this event.
