Luce Price Grivat 2012 awarded to Marc Schleiss for his PhD thesis

LTE is pleased to inform you that the Board of the Foundation "Luce Grivat" has awarded its 2012 prize of CHF 5'000.- to Marc Schleiss for his PhD thesis "Variability of the Rain Drop Size, Distribution: Stochastic Simulation and Application to Telecommunication Microwave Links." The jury appreciated topic addressed, the mathematical approach and the quality of the dissertation. Congratulations!
The "Luce Grivat" prize rewards the best Master project, doctoral research or research project contributing a high level and innovative share in the field of SIE and which has been carried out within the framework of EPFL.
This prize will be awarded during the ENAC Research Day in spring 2013.
