Visiting professor

Prof. Serena Cattari (University of Genova, Italy) received a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation for visiting the EESD-laboratory for two months. Based on the EESD-spandrel strength models, we will work towards advancing the modelling of spandrels in equivalent frame models and Serena will implement these in the well-known code "Tremuri" for the seismic analysis of masonry structures, of which she is a co-author.
