A special issue of Journal of Applied Electrochemistry is dedicated to Professor Christos Comninellis on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
Prof. Christos Comninellis (GGEC - Electrochemical Engineering Group) started his 40-year research career at EPFL in 1971 and focused his work on applied electrochemistry. The greatest impact of his work in this domain has been through the development of a model of organic anodic oxidation and its application to electrosynthesis and electrochemical wastwater treatments.
